Reiki First Degree Introduction
Reiki is a form of Spiritual energy which was rediscovered by Dr Usui in the early nineteenth century. Searching for healing which would assist the physical aspects of man, he made a miraculous discovery.
This healing formula was not only able to heal the physical body, it could also heal the spirit.
Dr Usui founded the initial Reiki organisation, which is widely practised today. Many have added a variety of ideals to his work and they have expanded further on his initial concepts to bring a revolutionary therapy, which not only heals the spirit and body, but can heal the mind also.
Dr Usui was a philosopher of his day, he believed there was more to life and the meaning of exstence, then he already knew or had been taught. He was literate and fully understood the bible and the way of the Buddha. Yet an inner yearning or some may say calling, directed him to seek further knowledge.
Travelling many miles he eventually rested and began to meditate on a mountain for twenty-one days. You have to be highly trained to undertake this task. Upon the twenty-first day Dr Usui was filled and surrounded with a magnificent ray of divine light, which struck him on his forehead, like a bolt of lightening.
Awakening his soul, he had received the divine ray which opened his inner doorway, his Christ self. A vortex directed him to parallels of universes and different dimensions where beings of great wisdom and knowledge lived.
These beings knew that he was looking for a formula and wisdom that could help people to heal in a natural way. It is documented that these beings revealed to him, doctrines of information containing sacred symbols that were written in ancient Sanskrit.
Showing him what the symbols represented, when applied on a spiritual level, Dr Usui received his attunement which opened him to his powers of Reiki.
This was the same day, upon Dr Usui's return to civilisation. Bringing the knowledge with he set forth to enlighten man and cleanse Mother Earth.
The Heaven's had connected to earth and had given an opportunity to heal and free all from pain and suffering. The power of this awakening began.
It is alleged that as Dr Usui walked back down the mountain, he tripped, thus damaging his ankle which instantly swelled. Immediately he placed his hand on top of the sore area and watched in amazement as the swelling disappeared and he was free to walk once more.
Arriving at a local tavern, Dr Usui sat at a table and asked the owner for a large bowl of food. Knowing he had fasted for twenty-one days, he understood that to eat a large meal he would endanger himself.
This did not deter him, he inwardly knew he would be alright and began to eat. Just as he thought, nothing happened to him. The owner of the tavern, had a daughter who was in great pain, due to severe toothache.
Immediately after Dr Usui was introduced to the girl, his hands began to warm up intensely and so he asked her if he could place his hands on the area that was causing her pain. The girl agreed and as soon as Dr Usui placed his hands on her face the pain dramatically vanished.
This was Dr Usui's first miracle, which proved to him without a shadown of a doubt that something had taken place up there on the mountain. From that day onward, he devoted his life working with people, doing healings and teaching other Masters and students how to use the Reiki light.
His business sense was not his best quality and so he invoked the aide of Dr Hayashi who gave Reiki it
‛s format and structure. This was then passed on to Takarta who took Reiki out to the world.
Since then the power of Reiki has grown and evolved to such a degree that is recognised world wide and thousands of people practice it daily to not only help themselves, but all of man.
Reiki is both hands on healing and also absentee healing. When Reiki is applied with dedication and commitment miracles can and very often happen.
Reiki energy, when directed onto a persons body can instantly lower stress and many other ailments. The fact that stress is the major contributing factor of many people's illnesses today, it is a miracle in itself to see the cures directly before you.
Reiki breathes light into your body and aura, it cleanses, rejuvenates and rewards you with confidence, good health and positive currents of life changing energy.
When you are in peace with the world and especially within your own mind, nothing can penetrate that positiveness. No illness can latch on and nobody can influence you in a negative way.
Reiki can guide the soul to the light and into the higher levels and dimensions, which aid a person. The Reiki Ideals Just for today let go of you worry and face the day bravely.
Just for today do your work honestly no matter whether you are a mother, or a factory worker or a businessman. Be proud of who you are and what you do.
Just for today give thanks for what life has already bestowed upon you no matter how small or how large.
Just for today have respect for those you love and for every living being and animal on our small planet. Give out kindness and kindness will be

Reiki means universal life force energy. Rei meaning universal - Ki meaning life force.
There are three stages of learning with Reiki. Blocked energy that cannot move through the body is what causes illness within a body. This energy has to flow freely in order for you to receive the best health and happiness.
First Degree helps to heal the body and clears out any imbalances. Through hands on, you are able to remove any blockages.
Reiki Second Degree is much more advanced. It helps heal your body, mind and your soul on all levels.
With Reiki Second Degree you can heal past and present situations in your life. You are able to set up positive outcomes to events in your life.
Reiki Third Degree is the Master
‛s level, here you are committed to teach Reiki to others.
Reiki can and does apply to other healing methods that are around today. You can quite safely mix Reiki with other alternative and even conventional healing, as it will only enhance these tools.
So please always remember that if you are sick, or seriously ill in any way, YOU MUST go to your DOCTOR or hospital. Medical science is a miracle too, just like Reiki, so when you combine Reiki with normal medical practice, you have the ultimate healing power that you can achieve.
